Meet “Good Morning,” our newest beacon of hope 🌅🐕

When clinic staff at VET9 first lifted the limp, bleeding body of a nameless street dog onto the exam table, they feared they were too late. A shotgun blast had torn open his back; infection had already set in.
But every dawn for the next three months, the team would lean over his kennel and gently greet him—“صباح الخير” (“good morning”). Against all odds, he began to wag at those words. A miracle took shape: the wound closed, fur crept back, and a spirit too bright to dim started shining through blind eyes.

Today that same dog — now proudly answering to Good Morning — roams Al‑Yarmouk Sanctuary’s safe acres beside other blind friends. He can’t see the sunrise, but he feels it in every breeze that ruffles his healed coat.
